The Consciousness of Creativity

“And I found that when I built my own place and just shut the door, the creativity was endless.”
~Billy Sherwood

Hello readers!

I apologize for being away for so long, but it was all in good usage! I am already feeling the busy  energy of Summer that is starting to permeate everywhere. I can honestly say that it has made me  into a creative machine! So I have a few fairly new things share since I have last posted…which means visuals of what I have been up to lately, either hot off the fire of creativity or some things that I have been reworking: mostly collage (digital and paper form), poetry, and of course photography! Here they are and I hope you enjoy them:

Collages:

Collage that I did on the front of my primary writing notebook.

“The Beauty in Death” -Digital Collage made in Adobe Photoshop CS4

“May Garden” -Digital Collage made in Adobe Photoshop CS4

Poetry:

“Unbitten”

A package deal. Soft, languorous

Still

Unbitten, the nape of the fruit.

Guidence.

Postured for receiving un-named

Pieces of time.

Panic

Nestled underneath the subtle colors of wood grain.

Sky and tree too.

“Compatable Kiss”

An idea of a compatible kiss:

Slow, lucid…breathing life into my heart bones, steeling itself against rusty paper inquisitiveness.

A whispered answer in a doubtfully light manner to consume the two into summer only to decide what the world looks like from a string of rancid pearls.

“Hazardous Sinew”

If you look closely, each person that comes into our life has the intensity of a fire which is always burning, raw and eternal.

Yet we have no nerve to cut the weight of hazardous sinew away, while sitting on the doorstep waiting for the differences of the new hours to come crawling forward.

Wet

Hungry

With eyes so deep and troublesome, they might as well be a mirror.

But I have had a need to welcome them inside anyhow.

“Out of Control = Death”

The sea flows to me to indulge in my Soul when I am alone.

The clear, cold bones of the tide kiss me with the kind of abandon that I don’t let myself feel.

Out of Control = Death.

Only to break the maidenhead of such quiet and solitary ways, a gate against such embraces that wrack the nerves making the heart tremble and stumble.

So has anyone else felt the amazing energy of the impending Summer? I would love to see what you have to say in the comment section!
